PROGRAM: Adult Day Program (ADP) / Dimensions Day Program

POSITION: Skills Instructor
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday (8:45a - 3:15p)
DESCRIPTION:

Ensures that the highest possible safety standards are followed while transporting authorized passengers in the assigned agency vehicles in accordance with all applicable federal, state, local, and organizational requirements.  Maintains confidentiality in matters of clients, personnel, and Villa Esperanza operations; exercises good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.



PROGRAM: Community Integration Program (CIP) Pasadena

POSITION: CIP Skills Instructor
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday: 8:45a – 3:45p
DESCRIPTION:

To assist program participants with employment and essential living skills including proper programming for participants.  Works with participants and seeks opportunities to teach, train, and encourage independence for performing employment and living skills.  Adhere with all safety standards, regulations and policies and trains staff and clients regarding safety standards as needed.  Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for others during all interactions with staff, clients, management, and external parties.  Maintains confidentiality in matters of participants, personnel, and Villa Esperanza Services operations; exercises good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.



PROGRAM: Employment Services

POSITION: Group Supported Employment Job Coach (Pasadena/Glendale) (Dreamworks Animation)
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday: 7:00a-3:30p
DESCRIPTION:

To implement, and maintain effective job coaching for clients preparing them for external employment opportunities by utilizing structured intervention techniques to help the clients learn to perform work related activities and the specific requirements of the job.  Conduct assessments, counseling, and advocacy, through a structured 100% intervention plan.  Adhere with all safety standards, regulations and policies and trains staff and clients regarding safety standards as needed.  Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for others (staff, clients, management, and external parties) during all interactions.  Maintain confidentiality in matters of clients, personnel, and Villa Esperanza Services operations; exercises good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.



POSITION: Group Supported Employment Job Coach (Huntington Library)
SCHEDULE: Wednesday - Sunday: 9:30a – 6:00p
DESCRIPTION:

POSITION: Accounting Supervisor
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday: 8:30a – 5:00p
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, etc.) with at least two (2) years of related experience and/or training in a finance/accounting department; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
DESCRIPTION:

Directly responsible for timely verification of posted financial information for both VES & HUD accounts.  Assist in Annual Recertification process of clients in housing projects and in the preparation of Annual Management Review of all housing foundation.  Provide assistance to Payroll Administrator and/or to the controller on payroll related projects.



POSITION: Senior Accountant
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday: 8:30a – 5:00p
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, etc.) with at least two (2) years of related experience and/or training in a finance/accounting department; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
DESCRIPTION:

Directly responsible for timely verification of posted financial information in VES books.  Prepares financial analysis including but not limited to program revenue reports, depreciation summary, cost analysis, and other related financial reports that the controller may request or need assistance with.  Provide assistance to the Controller in the preparation for internal or external audits.



PROGRAM: Independent Living Skills (ILS) Pasadena

POSITION: Program Supervisor (Pasadena)
SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Friday: 10:00a – 6:30p & Saturday: 8:00a-4:30p
DESCRIPTION:

To support client’s self-sufficiency efforts by recruiting, interviewing, screening, enrolling and orienting potential participants.  Administers, scores, and interprets skills and interest assessments for clients determining training and support service needs.  Works with clients to develop actions plans.  Provides support services and/or makes referrals to other community agencies to resolve barriers to employment.  Adheres with all safety standards, regulations and policies and trains staff and clients regarding safety standards as needed.  Maintains a high level of professionalism and respect for others during all interactions with staff, clients, management and external parties.  Maintains confidentiality in matters of clients, personnel, and Villa Esperanza Services operations; exercises good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.



POSITION: Skills Instructor (Glendale/Pasadena/Arcadia/Monrovia/Covina)

DESCRIPTION:

To support client’s self-sufficiency efforts by encouraging independence of program participants. Assist persons served to acquire basic independent living skills. Adheres with all safety standards, regulations and policies and trains staff and clients regarding safety standards as needed.  Maintains a high level of professionalism and respect for others during all interactions with staff, clients, management and external parties.  Maintain confidentially in matter of clients, personnel, and Villa Esperanza Services operations; exercise good judgment in performance of duties and responsibilities.



PROGRAM: Residential

POSITION: Residential Counselor
SCHEDULE: Monday – Sunday: Will vary upon availability
DESCRIPTION: To provide direct care and training for persons living in a residential home. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of each individual. To strive for home like environment with the best quality of life for each person.  Maintains confidentiality in matters of clients, personnel, and Villa Esperanza operations; exercise good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.


PROGRAM: Non Public School

POSITION: Special Education Teacher
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday: 8:00a – 3:00p
DESCRIPTION:

POSITION: Instructional Aide
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday: 8:30a – 2:30p
DESCRIPTION:

To assist the Lead Teacher with procedures required in the operation of the class, which includes both regularly developing and special needs children. Understand and attend to children who possess special physical, social, or emotional needs.  Adhere with all safety standards, regulations and policies and train staff and clients regarding safety standards as needed.  Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for others (staff, clients, management, and external parties) during all interactions.



POSITION: Speech and Language Pathology Assistant
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday: 30+ Hours per week
DESCRIPTION:

Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) at Villa Esperanza’s  (VES’s) Speech & Language Center treat, screen, consult, and plan accommodations for student and client communication disorders under the supervision of an assigned, licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Villa Esperanza’s students’ and clients’ communicative abilities range from mildly to severely disordered concomitant with autism spectrum and/or other developmental disabilities.  Many students and clients utilize visually supported augmentative and alternative communication modes.

POSITION: WR Lead
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday: 8:30a – 5:00p
DESCRIPTION:

Provides assistance to Employment Services Manager; oversees logistics of Individual Placement, Group Supported Employment, and Community Integration Programs: this may include job coach staffing needs; community employer support needs & ongoing communication; provide job development to assigned persons; maintain confidentially in matters of clients, personnel, and Villa Esperanza operations; exercise good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities. Adhere to all safety standards, regulations and policies and trains staff and clients regarding safety standards as needed.  Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for others (staff, clients, management, and external parties) during all interactions. 



PROGRAM: Employment Services (West Region)

POSITION: Individual Placement Job Coach
SCHEDULE: Varies: 25 hours per week
DESCRIPTION:

To develop, implement, and maintain external employment opportunities for consumers through effective job coaching using structured intervention techniques to help the consumer learn to perform work related activities and the specific requirements of the job.  Uses structured intervention, conducts assessments, counseling, advocacy, travel training, and other services needed.  Adhere with all safety standards, regulations and policies and trains staff and clients regarding safety standards as needed.  Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for others (staff, clients, management, and external parties) during all interactions.
