PROGRAM:
Non-Public School
POSITION: Instructional Aide
PAY RATE: $17.85 - $18.00/hour + $1,500 Sign-On Bonus (paid in various increments throughout the first 9 months of employment)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM (30 hrs/week)
DESCRIPTION: Assist the lead teacher with procedures required in the operation of the class, including providing support in instructing special needs students. Understand and attend to students with special physical, social, or emotional needs. Adhere to all safety standards, regulations, and policies, and train staff and individuals served regarding safety standards as needed. Our school offers an educational program serving students from 5 to 22 years old (elementary, middle, and high school classes) who have special needs associated with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual, and other developmental disabilities.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent.
- Experience assisting special needs individuals (Socially Emotional Disturbance (S.E.D.) and/or Behavioral Challenges); 1 year preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Complete a fingerprinting clearance, physical & TB screenings.

PROGRAM:
Residential Services
POSITION: Residential Counselor/Direct Support Professional (DSP)
PAY RATE: $18.00 - $18.50/hour + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid in various increments throughout the first 12 months of employment)
SCHEDULES AVAILABLE (WEEKENDS ONLY):
DESCRIPTION: Assist program participants with direct care functions for adults with developmental disabilities. Residential counselors strive to foster a home-like environment for residents and ensure they are receiving the best quality of life. Our Residential Program is committed to providing individualized, accessible, affordable housing for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through Villa’s various levels of support and assistance, individuals are reaching their greatest levels of independence—living, working, playing, and being active in their community.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License with 3 years of verifiable driving history.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience assisting special needs individuals; 1 year preferred.
- Complete a fingerprinting clearance, physical & TB screenings.

PROGRAM:
Employment Services
POSITION: IP Job Coach
PAY RATE: $20.00 - $21.00/hour, DOE.
SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri 8:00AM to 4:30PM (40hrs/week)
LOCATION: Pasadena Vicinity
DESCRIPTION: To develop, implement, and maintain external employment opportunities for persons served through effective job coaching, use structured intervention techniques to help participants learn to perform work-related activities and understand the specific requirements of the job. Conduct assessments, counseling, advocacy, travel training, and other necessary services.
Requirements:
- High school or GED Diploma
- Experience assisting special needs individuals; 1 year preferred.
- Complete a fingerprinting clearance, physical, and TB screenings.
- Experience assisting special needs individuals; 1 year preferred.

PROGRAM:
Adult Day Program
POSITION: Skills Instructor
PAY RATE: $17.75 - $18.00/hour + $1,500 Bonus (paid in various increments throughout the first 12 months of employment)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (32.5 hrs/week)
DESCRIPTION: As a Skills Instructor/Skills Coach you will be assisting participants with employment and essential living skills. You will have the opportunity to work with participants and seek opportunities to teach, train, and encourage independence for performing living skills, while offering supervision to participants. Skills Instructors are expected to adhere with all safety standards, regulations and policies.

Our Adult Day Program is designed to develop and maintain an individual's functional, cognitive, and behavioral skills required for successful integration in the community. ADP is an adult day program serving 18 years and older with developmental disabilities who no longer qualify for public school funding.
Requirements:
- High school or GED Diploma
- Valid CA Driver’s License with 3 years of verifiable driving history
- Experience assisting special needs individuals; 1 year preferred.
- Complete a fingerprinting clearance, physical and TB screenings.
- Experience assisting special needs individuals; 1 year preferred.

PROGRAM:
Independent Living Services (ILS) (Thousand Oaks)
POSITION: ILS Skills Instructor (Thousand Oaks)
PAY RATE: $19.00 - $19.25/hour + $1,500 Sign-On Bonus (paid in various increments throughout the first 12 months of employment)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 10:00AM-6:30PM (40hrs/week)
LOCATION: Thousand Oaks, CA vicinity
DESCRIPTION: Assist in oversight and support for individuals served in the ILS program. The role involves teaching adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible by developing, increasing, or maintaining skills. Responsibilities include assisting participants in various areas such as home and community safety, utilizing public transportation, shopping in the community, self-advocacy, independent recreation and participation, socialization, and interpersonal relationships.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid CA Driver’s License with 3 years of verifiable driving history
- Must be willing to drive your own vehicle (Mileage reimbursement provided twice a month at the IRS approved rate).
- Willing to work in the Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Simi Valley area.
- Experience assisting special needs individuals; 1 year preferred.
- Satisfactorily complete a fingerprinting clearance, physical and TB screenings.
